Gratitude creates it’s own attitude. Taking a few minutes to sit back and consider what you can be thankful for can give you a new perspective. It is all about focus. Even if things seem bleak, here is always something! I am going to use this day as my opportunity to see those things.
Take a few minutes today to create your own Thankful Thursday.
How:
Post about gratitude on your blog, link back here and leave a comment. Listing three to five things is nice, but one will do. Feel free to tag other bloggers to give thanks in their lives.
If you don’t have your own blog, go ahead and write about what you are thankful for in the comments here instead.
I know that I risk sounding trite and ‘cutesy’ here, but that is not my intention. Even so, if it’s funny, go ahead and laugh! No harm in that. There’s more harm in taking ourselves too seriously! Now on to business…

Today I am thankful for the wonderful friends that I have made recently and the existing friendships that have deepened. They have truly kept me inspired and moving forward to a world of unknown and imagined possibilities.
I am going to tag a couple of those friends:
Amy Jo and Sally at Tired Dog Ranch.
Susan at The Pony Expression.
I was inspired to do start Thankful Thursday by by this blog post.
Thankyou Simrat for inspiring me today! I have added my own Thankful Thursday to my blog in celebation of thankfulness.

What a good idea to actually take time to be thankful! I don’t have a blog so will comment here instead. Today I am thankful for the horses I have, they have all found me in their own special ways and I am thankful to have the oportunity to be a part of their lives!!
I am thankful for you, Simrat, for making this page. I added my own Thankful Thursday, also, and will always try to be thankful of what I have … and don’t have! Thank you, Simrat. You are such a blessing.
Julie, I have to say… me too!!
AJ, Ah! What a good thought… thankful for NOT having things. I was thinking, as I was driving to work today, that I am thankful that I no longer smoke or drink. Same vein, I guess.
Susan, your photo (on the link) is INCREDIBLE!
Thank you Simrat,

OK I am thankful that whilst driving my daughter to the airport the deer we hit did not seem to be injured.
It was 5 am and dark when this roe deer came across the road and hit the car. We did a full crash stop and went back to where she was in the muddle of the road in a crumpled heap.
As we approached she got up and walked off – all 4 legs seemed to be working OK. Also no damage to the car.

I am thankful for all that is provided in all things.
I am thankful we are.
I am thankful we can learn.
I am thankful for being part of all of this.
I am thankful for an understanding that I am part of all of this.
I am very thankful that there are others who know.
I am thankful for everything I cannot yet conceive.
I am thankful for all I can not yet perceive.
I am thankful the road is long.
I am thankful I am strong.
I am thankful for all of my teachers in life.
I am thankful for cheese
I am thankful for Simrat.
Just because a position is one lower than cheese does not denote its place other than the most important or the root of the thought. Thankful Thursday is a wonderful thing. It works for me!
Peace unto all.
Today I am grateful for a wonderful experience.
This experience was not one moment or one minute, but was a 4+ months plus journey. It took me to meet those in a pocket of goodness in a concentration I’ve never seen before. I got to meet and know a little about so many great people. These people were unlike any I had seen at work before. Work was an integration of real beliefs. It was awesome. I will never forget any of you. Or the spirit you so generously shared.
I am grateful for the kindness I was shown, and the light. Perhaps someday….
