I came out and Paisano was dead lame. I found a roofing nail through the sole of his left front foot. After I took it out, he was still ouchy, but willing to walk and put some weight on it.
A call to the vet later, I soaked his foot in epsom salt water, treated with iodine and wrapped it. My vetrap and ductape didn't last overnight, but after 5 days, he seemed so much better that I just soaked. He healed in half the time that the vet thought, so I was pretty happy with that.
Paisano took the soaking well as he was suitable scratched and treated for the duration. Though you can see that it took two tubs of hot water to make it through 10 minutes.
