We are heading for a dressage schooling show this weekend. It will be Paisano's first Training level test, so work on canter transitions was in order. Cyndy helped me ride through the Training Test 1 a couple of times then took a few photos, so I could see what we look like. One thing I need is a cover over that bright blue pad... when I bought it, I was thinking endurance with Lily, not dressage with Paisano. The saddle is okay on him, but not perfect. I see that I'll be starting the "great saddle hunt."

Paisano is maturing nicely. I am happy with his progress. Having Cyndy ride him regularly for a month was good for him. Now I need to focus on 3-4 rides per week for a while. Our downward transitions need work, but that's what a schooling show is for, right?
