I'm thinking of getting Lily in shape again for an LD endurance ride next year, so I'm trying to ride her more often. She does well enough in the ring to ride w/o even a lead around her neck, what fun! This is what I would have loved to do as a kid. Now I can just pretend to be one.

Hargobind had a little lesson in tackless riding too. He is getting the hang of steering and stopping. Lily is a good horse to learn on. She is safe, but does her own thing, if she feels that the rider is just a passenger. The rider has to let her know that they mean what they ask for.
