I made a last minute decision to join in on an OET ride at Baker Beach. Turned out that only one other member planned to go and was bringing her neighbor. The three of us met and Mary's neighbor turned out to be my friend, Linda and her Paso Fino gelding, Danza.
We had a great ride on the beach and then another after lunch through the woods and dunes. The weather was excellent and the company too. It would have been nice to have had someone along who knew the trails. Still we figured things out alright and just had fun exploring. We might have ridden 10-12 miles or so all told. LIly worked up quite a sweat, so she got a roll in the sand afterwards. Better then that when she tried it out in the dunes!
Many thanks to Linda for snapping a few photos of Lily and I. It was her first time at the beach and my first time riding there. What a blast! We will be back again!
