The horses in the paddock next to Lily moved, so I am taking it over. This was a first supervised try at turning Paisano out next to Lily and Vinnie. They did just fine. Lily didn't even come over to the fence, though she did run around some. Vinnie came close, but didn't touch noses with Paisano. It it works out, I'll move Vinnie in with Paisano soon. He is ready to wean!
There is a bit of work to do on the existing fences, removing a few bits of barbed wire and putting up electric. I am also going to put a corridor on all fence that Paisano will share with other horses. It will probably be about 10' wide. Then there is the floor of the shelter on the other side to deal with. It needs new footing. Try to look past the mud. I hope to work with the BO to have it more under control by next winter. I've already improved one side of Lily's shed. It was headed toward looking like the rest.
