My new trailer! Well, new to me anyway. I picked it up today and stopped at the barn to see the horses and see how Lily fits. When she is against the tack room wall, her rump is right up to the passenger wall. I't hard to see how an average sized horse would fit comfortably. The divider does telescope to two positions, but still... I'm glad that my horses are small. This trailer will work just great for us.
Some repairs are needed... the floor has a few rotted spots, the telescoping part of the divider needs cleaning and grease, the padding in the first stall is gone, and the rusted spots need to be cleaned and patched (until I can get it repainted). I would also like to add a rubber bumper on the back. The tires look great, but I found out that they are the original, which makes them 15 years old. They have very good tread, so it must not have been used very much. It's going to the shop next week for a full safety check. We did check all the lights and they work fine. Luckily the plug matched my truck perfectly.
