A few images for your viewing pleasure… inspired by Macro Monday on Lisa’s Chaos. Her images today are quite interesting, to say the least!

Who’s pretty blue eye?
That would be Alice, one of Amy Jo’s horses.
I like the depth in the first shot. And the tiny little plants on the big tree
Very nice.
Thanks, Ida!
I love that first shot. I so miss the PNW and all that green.
Thanks, Jennifer! I’ve lived other places and they all have their good points. NM has the skies, NY has the lovely deciduous fall color (I miss that here), India has depth and history and the PNW has all the moist green,,,
I love looking at mossy walls in nature! Is that eye a horse or a cow?
That would be a horse, black and white tobiano, to be specific about color. And her name is Alice.
And Alice was so named in honor of Simrat. We bought Alice off a feedlot in Washington before her planned shipment to slaughter. She was only a yearling. She was (and still is) gangly, confident, and beautiful. She simply reminded (and still reminds) me of Simrat.
You are making me thing that I need to work with her on my next visit. Need to continue what was stated with the one ground driving session, what a year ago? I think that she is ready for more.
I strongly feel the same, Simrat. There is so much potential in that girl – she just needs a guide who will be both tough and tender with her. She was abandoned at such a young age and still holds so much promise; she does not have a mean-spirited bone in her body. She is everyone’s friend, is so social and playful, and appears to be bomb-proof. I think she will be a brilliant trail mount. She needs your guidance, Miss Simrat.
