I know that I wasn’t going to post this weekend from the NW Expo, but when Vin was napping in his stall, it reminded me of when Paisano did the same thing.

Paisano in 2005
I found him lying down twice today and went in to hang out with him. He entertained people with his reaction to my finding his favorite itchy spots.

What a silly boy! I was laughing. That's why I've got my eyes closed and look a little silly myself!
I’ll have more to say next week. Now it’s time for some sleep!

Simrat he is looking so good! The more he matures the more I like him. What a character too! It looks like you too are well along the road to being a great team! I bet you are especially proud of him since he was you first born…
awwww…awaesome photos! I love it when they allow you to approach or even lie on them! My Percheron/TB gelding Buster used to sleep lying down so much it worried me a little. I would lie on top of him and revel in the feeling of rising and falling. He seemed even larger than when standing like that. After a while, he’d look me in the eye and lift his head, a sign to get off. He’d rise and greet me properly, and we’d get on with the day.
I wish I had photos like yours. The second one is particularly sweet.
Thanks for the memory.
Simrat! Long Lost! I’ve been thinking about you alot today and the March expo so I checked you blog and have been cruzing your pics of horses. WoW!! Vinnie looks fabulous! He reminds me so of my own Shadowman.
I hope you are doing well and the Expo goes wonderfully, can’t wait to see the new pics
They are up already.
