I know that I wasn’t going to post this weekend from the NW Expo, but when Vin was napping in his stall, it reminded me of when Paisano did the same thing.

Vinnie today

Vinnie today

I found him lying down twice today and went in to hang out with him. He entertained people with his reaction to my finding his favorite itchy spots.

Finding "the spot"
What a silly boy! I was laughing. That's why I've got my eyes closed and look a little silly myself!

I’ll have more to say next week. Now it’s time for some sleep!

Simrat he is looking so good! The more he matures the more I like him. What a character too! It looks like you too are well along the road to being a great team! I bet you are especially proud of him since he was you first born… ;)

  2. awwww…awaesome photos! I love it when they allow you to approach or even lie on them! My Percheron/TB gelding Buster used to sleep lying down so much it worried me a little. I would lie on top of him and revel in the feeling of rising and falling. He seemed even larger than when standing like that. After a while, he’d look me in the eye and lift his head, a sign to get off. He’d rise and greet me properly, and we’d get on with the day.
I wish I had photos like yours. The second one is particularly sweet.
    Thanks for the memory.
