This week’s Macro Monday is a guest feature. These are photos by my daughter, Gurunam Atwal, playing with her new DSLR. Who knew our front yard contained all these interesting images? Click for a larger view.

  1. Very cool from a bugs perspective.

  2. Well her own talent is showing! Looks like its a family thing. I see some very interesting images coming our way.

  3. These are nice, I like the second one!

  4. Beautiful guest feature! How lovely to see that photography runs in your family. Thank you for the advice on macro photography. Have a great week :)

  5. Glad to help out, Rosidah! And I’m pretty thrilled that she’s learning just like I did. She started out with my old film Nikon and learned to develop. It just a faster move to digital these days. I started with a twin lens reflex on 120mm film. If I can ever find those prints, I’ll post them. Those were some of the best shots I’ve done.

  6. Oh, sweet shots!
    She’s good with the cam!
Hope she keeps it up with lots of fun :)

  7. My eye!
Gurunam has a really amazing eye (no pun intended) for framing.
