Gratitude creates it’s own attitude. It can give you a new perspective, a new focus. I am going to use this day as my opportunity to see those things.
As spring emerges, I am profoundly grateful for light. Grateful for the sun setting later in the day, for warmth and the smell of spring earth. Even for the shedding horses.
I am also enjoying hulu.com. The site seems to have improved greatly since the last time that I visited a few months ago. Or maybe I was just in a light deprived fog then. On hulu, I can watch full length movies, some of my favorite TV shows, new and old, and queue a list for later viewing. I watched the entire first season of Crusoe while I was sick. There are commercials, but they are short and only one per break, unlike TV broadcast is these days, with seemingly endless commercial breaks. You can also rate the commercials. It seems to me that even the commercials are more interesting, as they are a bit more unusual than what’s made for the mainstream.
Now just to have a large flat screen to hook up to my computer with a cordless keyboard and mouse and I’ll be all set!
And lastly today, I am thankful for the challenge of training Bonita. I know that my blog seems to be taken over by her lately. That’s likely to continue through June. She is presenting her own challenges to me. And even more, my challenge with her is getting in 4-5 solid training days a week. I appreciate that working her is putting me into a routine. With my own horses, I have all the time in the world, so there seems like no need to get much done at times. Having her for 12 weeks is changing my attitude on that, for the good!

Oh cool I’m going to go check out Hulu.com now. Sounds right up my alley. My plan for some time has been to buy a large flat screen and do the remote puter thingy. I dont watch much TV, but I do enjoy some movies, and some documentaries.
I’m so happy that you are finding yourself with Bonita! Great project to bring you back in to the swing of things. That’s how I am feeling now that I’m down to two horses. I did something with them every day for four days in a row. It was amazing! And wonderful!
Yes, it’s all good.
We did have a bit of a battle of wills today, and she got nice and sweaty, but we ended as friends.
Thanks for sharing the hulu tip, I will check it out!
Like you, I love, love, love that we have more light now! Finally! It sure makes my horse time a little better!
Great blog over here, I’ll be back to visit.
I’m glad that you enjoyed your visit to my blog.
I am liking hulu more and more. I watched the latest episode of Heroes tonight with so few commercial breaks that I wondered where they were!
Hulu! Checking it out. And, light. Yes. I love it. It’s the best thing on earth. Or, heading toward earth. Yes.
Hulu is AMAZING!! I watched tons of HOUSE last night. Including interviews with the actors. I had to peel myself away from the puter at 2 am for some sleep. Oh this is going to to be bad!!! Another reason to be sitting here in front of this monitor! Argh!
Heeheehee! I was wondering where you were!
Hulu has become my go to place for TV. I can watch anytime and now have to compete with the family. I can retreat to lie in bed or on the couch with my laptop…
